The design of "Esse" is inspired by a prominent Jewish German-born American sculptor named Eva Hesse, who is known for her unique work with natural materials such as latex, fiberglass and plastics in the 50’s and 60’s in New York City. Eva Hesse's style is shown throughout the brand "Esse", through the line work, color, and interiors.
